Community Team Internship at Threadless in Chicago, IL
About this role:
You’ll maintain information databases, answer artist and customer service emails, and help coordinate artist assets and prizing.
This 3 month internship is unpaid for school credit, but you’ll receive 10 free tees a month, benefit from our Monday Morning Breakfasts, Thirsty Thursdays (read: booze. But only if you’re 21+), and all the other cool Threadlessness such as concerts in our warehouse, love from Threadstaff dogs, and the basketball court and arcade games at our offices. This internship is on-site in our Chicago office, so unless you're willing to relocate, this internship is only open for Chicago-based applicants.
What You’ve Got:
Must possess a good working knowledge of Google Docs, Adobe programs, and the Threadless.com submission process.
What You’ll do:
- Answer questions via email from Threadless users about design and submitting to Threadless
- Prepare and maintain Google Doc spreadsheets
- Help with the initial preparations for some of our partnerships and coordinate prizing for artists
- Help maintain our Tumblr page, Society6 page, and other off-site promotions
What you’re like:
- Able to communicate, collaborate with, and respect peers, no matter what their level
- Self-starter who takes initiative to solve problems and learn outside your skill set
- Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a dynamic, loosely structured and rapid growth environment
- A creative thinker who takes ownership of your own goals and projects and quickly rebounds from failure
- Must love fun!
- A love of all things art, design, and the fuzzy feeling one gets when you help others succeed
